►Saint-Santin (20 km) legendary double village… A single village but two communes Saint-Santin de Maurs in the cantal and Saint-Santin in Aveyron. The two sections of the village belong to two distinct administrative regions, Occitanie and Auvergne. (2 churches but only one war memorial) Discover the scenographic spaces "Le petit théâtre de Pierre-Maire", on the Aveyron side and "La Maison Marie-Pierre" on the Cantal side.
►Marcillac (20 km) and its AOP Marcillac vineyard, authentic wines, a terroir of character, a unique grape variety. (cooperative cellar with tasting in Valady)
►Belcastel (22 km) classified among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, the village of Belcastel is clinging to the hill. Its 15th century castle dominates the village and the Aveyron river.

►Conques (24 km) A large Occitanie site, classified among the Most Beautiful Villages in France, Conques owes its fame above all to its Romanesque abbey and its polychrome tympanum with 124 characters representing the Last Judgment. The contemporary stained glass windows by Pierre Soulages also place the village in contemporary art. A must-see on the way to Santiago de Compostela, the abbey church and the pilgrims' bridge are on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
►Figeac (31 km) A great site in Occitanie, a town of art and history offering the image of a miraculously preserved medieval town, inviting to contemplate the rich houses of its merchants from the Middle Ages. Cradled by the Célé river, it is also the birthplace of Champollion, famous decipherer of the hieroglyphics of the Rosetta Stone.
►Rodez (38 km) A large Occitanie site, labeled Country of Art and History, appears to be lifted by the power of its majestic Gothic cathedral and its superb steeple in red sandstone lace. Its historic heart and its 3 museums complete the visit. Visit the Soulages Museum on 6000m2, it houses the donation of Pierre and Colette Soulages, one of the most significant granted by an artist during his lifetime, with nearly 500 works and documents.

►Villefranche de Rouergue (38 km) Royal Bastide from the Middle Ages with town planning organized around its Collegiate Church and its square bordered by Arcades. The Aveyron flows peacefully at the foot of the bastide.
